Who we are

Legacy of the Kingdom (“LOTK,” “we,” “us”) operates this Bible reader, magazine, and private journal. This policy explains what information we hold, why we hold it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website and any apps we publish under the same name.

What we collect

We keep the data set deliberately small. In practice, that means:

• Account information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google; we never see your Google password.
• Content you create or save: bookmarks, highlights, notes, journal entries, reading-plan progress, your last-read position, and saved articles.
• Operational data: the minimal server logs needed to keep the service secure and working (for example, error reports and request timing). We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles from this.

What we don't do

We do not run advertising, embed tracking pixels, or load third-party analytics that follow you around the web. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use the content of your journal to train models or target you.

Your journal is private

Journal entries are encrypted at rest on the server. Voice transcription happens in your browser and never leaves your device until you choose to save the entry. Your journal is yours; it is never analysed or read by us for any purpose other than storing and returning it to you.

How we use your data

We use the information above to sign you in, sync your reading and writing across your devices, keep your account secure, and respond when you contact us. That's the whole list.

Service providers

A small number of trusted providers help us operate — hosting and database infrastructure, and Google for optional sign-in. They process data only on our instructions and only to deliver the service. We choose providers who do not use your data for their own advertising.

Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, such as your theme and chosen translation. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual journal entries, notes, and highlights at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. Once deleted, content is removed from our active systems; residual copies in encrypted backups age out on a routine schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, reach out and we'll help.

Children

Legacy of the Kingdom is intended for readers aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice within the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
