Last updated · June 22, 2026

Legacy of the Kingdom is a quiet sanctuary for reading Scripture, Christian thought, and your own reflections. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them: they're meant to be plain.

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Legacy of the Kingdom. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. One person, one account; please give us accurate information when you sign up.

2. Acceptable use

Use the service for personal reading, study, and reflection. Please don't misuse it. That includes attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform, scraping or bulk-downloading content, infringing others' rights, or using the service to harass, deceive, or harm anyone. We may suspend access that puts the service or other readers at risk.

3. Your content

Your journal entries, notes, highlights, and other writing belong to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, encrypt, back up, and display that content back to you so the service works across your devices. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't publish or share it. You can delete your content, or your whole account, at any time.

4. Scripture and editorial content

Bible translations are provided under their respective licenses and remain the property of their rights holders. We publish public-domain and freely licensed translations across many languages, sourced through the helloao Scripture API and eBible.org. Commentary is public domain, including Matthew Henry's exposition via CCEL. Magazine articles, essays, and other editorial material are owned by Legacy of the Kingdom or its contributors and are offered for your personal, non-commercial reading. Please don't republish or redistribute them without permission.

5. The service is offered as-is

We work hard to keep Legacy of the Kingdom reliable, but it is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features, and occasionally the service may be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We are not a substitute for professional, pastoral, medical, or legal advice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy of the Kingdom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or where required to protect the service or other readers. If we end your access, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you export your own content first.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice within the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
